The future is unknown, but we can make educated guesses about it. As logo designers, our craft has changed a lot over the last 50 years, and no doubt in the next 10 it's going to change a whole lot too. With artificial intelligence making it's way into graphic design and the logo design world, a lot of people are worried.
However, as a logo designer myself, I see opportunity. I also see how consumers and the audiences of logo designs interact with our artwork is shifting too. That's why it's so important to keep up to date with technology and society, and move with it as a logo or graphic designer. It's also very important to take into consideration that logos are less static these days and more dynamic. The logo may become less important and the overall brand identity being more important.
