In this video, we will show you how to permanently delete your Gmail account.

Gmail is a free email service offered to all Google Account holders. You can either delete the Gmail service from your account or delete the Google Account entirely. For this you would need to access your Google Account.

From the options menu here, select the “Manage your Google Account” option.

Once the new page opens up, move to the “Data and personalization” option.

Over here, scroll down and click on the “Delete a service or your account” option.

From here, you can either delete the Gmail service or your Google Account entirely.

To delete the Gmail service, click on the “Delete a service” option here. You would be required to re-enter the Google Account password from this.

From here, you can delete the Gmail service from your google account. Make sure to take a backup before proceeding with this step.

This is basically when you wish to continue using the Google Account services like playstore etc. but don’t want to use the Gmail service anymore. In that case, you will have to link your Google Account with an already existing email address, which you can enter here.

Gmail service will only be deleted once you complete the email verification process.

If you were only using the account for the Gmail service, you can simply delete the complete Google Account from here.

Once again you would be required to re-enter the password for confirmation.

You can take the backup of your account before continuing with the process.

Over here, all the services being deleted would be displayed for example Gmail, Google Calendar and any other service your account is subscribed with.

You would need to provide acknowledgement that related to any pending financial transactions that can be charged or profit payouts that won’t be paid out once the account is deleted.

Also confirm that you want to permanently delete your Google Account and click on the button over here.

Once the request has been processed, the account would be permanently deleted.

Let’s try logging with the same account credentials and you can see that Google is notifying us that the account was recently deleted.

That’s all!
