1. Prepare
Seeds: choose Long Red Radish, Or Round Red Radish.
Planting land. Choose clean soil mixed with ash, rice husk or coir
Bag. You can save money by growing in bags. land height 15cm
2. Sowing and planting
Drills
Seeds can be soaked in warm water for about 3 hours and incubated overnight. After the seeds are cracked and germinated, they are sown in the nursery tray. Make a small hole 1cm deep, put the seeds in. Sow 1-2 sprouts in 1 hole. Then cover with a thin layer of soil.
After sowing, water the soil a little. Then place the nursery tray in a sunny place. To promote seed germination.
Note:
In the early days of sowing, if the place where you plant is too hot. Use Orchid Net to cover the nursery pot. When the plant is about 3 cm tall, take out the Net!
Planting
Red radish seeds after sowing 7-10 days will produce 2-3 true leaves.
At this point you choose the strongest plants to plant. Only one plant should be planted in a pot.
3) Care
If you don't want the radish hard and fibrous. Ensure adequate watering. Should be kept moist at all times. The suitable temperature for growing in pots is 10-29oC.
4) Prevention of pests and diseases
When growing radishes in a bag of soil, you do not need to worry about pests and diseases, and there are no weeds. However, red radish often suffers from root rot and leaf fungus or aphids. Therefore, avoid watering from above.
5) Harvest.
After about 35 to 40 days, the red radish can be harvested.
