This thread is made in China, my fellow tatter sent me some samples and tried.
So, I would like to share my feelings about this thread.

- quite soft to tat
- it’s a bit elastic when you pull it hard, but not easy to break
- easy to close the rings
- the tatted work is quite sturdy, so, it will keep the shape really well.
- I think it is great to make earrings or pendants with these threads, for bracelets, I will say a no, because it’s quite coarse (I think most of the metallic threads are like that) and scratchy to your skin.
- Colors, I think they do have a collection of different colors, but most of them are out of stock. (I was lucky to have a friend sending me some samples to try.)

I compared the Sanbest (3 strands) with Calais (4 strands).
Sanbest is more sturdier and less elastic.

Because Calais is finer for each strand, so, it’s softer than Sanbest.
And when you make the rings and chains, it gives you smoother look.

This motif is very simple to make, I am not sure if anyone had designed it before. I am going to attach my own design for this motif.
It’s good for making earrings or you can connect these motifs to make a coaster or placemat. Enjoy this little simple free pattern!
