This video will show how to make a simple geometrical tatting motif with rings only.
But it consists of normal rings and split rings.
It is definitely a good exercise for split rings.

Feel free to add beads in the rings to make it more elegant and unique.

I found that sewing beads are much easier for this pattern because you don’t need to worry about adding beads while tatting with the split rings.
And you can decide where to put the beads afterwards.

I personally like to work with metallic thread for this design, because it will be more jewelry like.
It is also welcome to use cotton thread, and will look cuter and younger too.
