I am going to make some videos on tatting basic, because there are some newbies asking me HOW TO TAT.
This is lesson one : how to wind the shuttle
Also including the basic materials that we need for tatting.

Materials for tatting:

1) Threads : Olympus Gold Label #40
This is actually very similar to Lizbeth #20 thread, and I think this is perfect for beginners. If you still find it too fine to tat, you can also use thicker thread size like size 10 or fingering yarn. (The larger the number, the finer the thread)

2) Shuttles: basically we usually use two shuttles for making complicated projects, but some projects may only request one shuttle.

3) Crochet hook , this is optional, as some people like to use the sharp tip of the shuttles for connecting the picots, but I personally love to use crochet hook.

4) A pair of scissors
