I found this hollow log, or stump, and I planted a trailing type of petunia in it. I watered it a little bit daily, and fertilized with some miracle grow fertilizer meant for flowers. https://amzn.to/2pVHSuq (affiliate)
Sometimes it fun to go back and watch how a flower or plant has progressed from the time it was planted through the summer. As you will see in the video, it grew very well and on it's best days, was covered with gorgeous flower blooms. I hope you enjoy this time lapse of it growing through the summer from a small plant with no flowers, to a beautiful, dense clump of petunia flowers trailing over the log.
Let me know if you've ever tried anything similar.
