If you've ever wondered if you could grow potatoes from a potato peeling, your answer is in this video. During the beginning of the pandemic, it was much harder to safely buy food around were we live. For that reason, I was keenly interested in any opportunity to grow more of our own food. When I saw a single potato peel that had sprouted in our compost pile, I wanted to see if I could grow potatoes from it. I planted the peeling with the sprout in a container and kept it watered. In this video I will show you the progress through part of the summer and then show our harvest that we got. I've you've ever grown a potato from a peeling, let us know about it down in the comments.
