You can display a message in a new window without using the Tk method in tkinter but that has its limits. That can be done using the message box module in tkinter. There are many functions available in this module like the show error , ask question etc. Each one has a different set of options to select from
In this video we would be using buttons to understand these functions. For commands of the buttons we would create functions that would have the message box widget. And as we click on the button we see a pop-up box, as the user defined function calls on to the message box widget.
