In this step by step tutorial (for beginners and beyond), I'll show you how to make a fun DIY plant holder without a tassel, at least on the bottom.

Here are the supplies you'll need to make this no tassel macrame planter:

3 mm cotton rope: https://bit.ly/3DZNI7x
- 8 pieces @ 134” long (or 2 arm spans)
- 1 piece @ 30” long (for wrapping knot)
2” wooden ring: https://amzn.to/40llGuR
Sharp scissors

Finished Size:

24” long from bottom of wooden ring to bottom of plant hanger

(The plant pot pictured is 6” across and 5” tall.)

As written, you could fit in a 7” or maybe even 8” pot.
