Learn how to tie these slightly more advanced macrame knots in today's simple step by step tutorial! These knots are actually pretty easy to make, so don't worry if you're a beginner.
We'll learn the Josephine Knot (2 ways), the Pipa Knot, and the Sailor's Knot. You can use these for necklaces, earrings, a bracelet, a keychain, or add them to wall hanging or plant hanger patterns to jazz things up a bit.

And this is the length of cord I used to demonstrate the knots. You can definitely do these knots with shorter cords, with the exception of the Pipa Knot:
Two Stranded Josephine Knot: 2 pieces @ approx. 33" long
Single Stranded Josephine Knot: 1 piece @ approx. 40" long
Pipa Knot: 1 piece @ approx. 95" long
Sailor Knot: 2 pieces @ approx. 33" long
