Welcome to Lecture 7 of the course "Digital Signal Processing" by Prof.David Koilpllai
Full Course: https://study.iitm.ac.in/es/course_pages/EE3101.html

Video Overview
In this lecture you will learn about discrete time sinusoids and how they differ from continuous time sinusoids. We will explore the unique property of periodicity in frequency that is specific to discrete time signals and examine the conditions needed for discrete time sinusoids to be periodic in time. You will also understand the implications of these properties when representing discrete time periodic signals using the Fourier series and see why only N coefficients are required for this representation. This session will strengthen your understanding of the frequency domain and prepare you for advanced topics in digital signal processing and systems analysis.

About IIT Madras' online Bachelor of Science programme
IIT Madras offers four-year BS programmes that aim to provide quality education to all, irrespective of age, educational background, or location. The BS programme has multiple levels, which provide flexibility to students to exit at any of these levels. Depending on the courses completed and credits earned, the learner can receive a Foundation Certificate from IITM CODE (Centre for Outreach and Digital Education), Diploma(s) from IIT Madras, or BSc/BS Degrees from IIT Madras.
