Welcome to Lecture 19 of the course "Digital Signal Processing" by Prof.David Koilpllai
Full Course: https://study.iitm.ac.in/es/course_pages/EE3101.html
Video Overview
In this lecture you will review the fundamental concepts of discrete time systems to strengthen your understanding for signal processing and systems analysis. We will cover unit sample functions and the classification of sequences into finite and infinite length and causal and non causal signals. You will also learn about the properties of discrete time sinusoids including periodicity in frequency and time. The lecture explains how to represent ramp functions in discrete time and explores operations such as downsampling upsampling time scaling and time reversal with clear examples. The session concludes with practical problems to help you practice and master the steps involved in analyzing and transforming discrete time signals.
About IIT Madras' online Bachelor of Science programme
IIT Madras offers four-year BS programmes that aim to provide quality education to all, irrespective of age, educational background, or location. The BS programme has multiple levels, which provide flexibility to students to exit at any of these levels. Depending on the courses completed and credits earned, the learner can receive a Foundation Certificate from IITM CODE (Centre for Outreach and Digital Education), Diploma(s) from IIT Madras, or BSc/BS Degrees from IIT Madras.
