Welcome to Lecture 18 of the course "Digital Signal Processing" by Prof.David Koilpllai
Full Course: https://study.iitm.ac.in/es/course_pages/EE3101.html
Video Overview
In this lecture you will learn about the important concept of boundedness in sequences and signals which is essential for signal analysis and system stability. We will define what it means for a sequence to be bounded absolutely summable and square summable and use clear examples to illustrate these properties for better understanding. The lecture then connects these concepts to practical system analysis by explaining Bounded Input Bounded Output BIBO stability in the context of linear time invariant LTI systems. You will learn how to determine the stability of an LTI system simply by examining its impulse response which will help you analyze and design stable systems in signal processing confidently.
About IIT Madras' online Bachelor of Science programme
IIT Madras offers four-year BS programmes that aim to provide quality education to all, irrespective of age, educational background, or location. The BS programme has multiple levels, which provide flexibility to students to exit at any of these levels. Depending on the courses completed and credits earned, the learner can receive a Foundation Certificate from IITM CODE (Centre for Outreach and Digital Education), Diploma(s) from IIT Madras, or BSc/BS Degrees from IIT Madras.
