Welcome to Lecture 21 of the course "Digital Signal Processing" by Prof.David Koilpllai
Full Course: https://study.iitm.ac.in/es/course_pages/EE3101.html

Video Overview
In this lecture you will learn how to represent discrete time signals and systems in the frequency domain which provides a powerful way to analyze and understand signal behavior beyond the time domain. We will begin by exploring how linear time invariant LTI systems respond to complex exponentials which act as eigenfunctions for these systems. You will then learn about the concept of frequency response and how it helps in analyzing the behavior of systems for different frequencies. Finally we will introduce the Discrete Time Fourier Transform DTFT and its inverse as a formal method to move from the time domain to the frequency domain. This session will prepare you to analyze signals and systems effectively using frequency domain techniques in your signal processing studies.

About IIT Madras' online Bachelor of Science programme
IIT Madras offers four-year BS programmes that aim to provide quality education to all, irrespective of age, educational background, or location. The BS programme has multiple levels, which provide flexibility to students to exit at any of these levels. Depending on the courses completed and credits earned, the learner can receive a Foundation Certificate from IITM CODE (Centre for Outreach and Digital Education), Diploma(s) from IIT Madras, or BSc/BS Degrees from IIT Madras.
