Welcome to Lecture 29 of the course "Digital Signal Processing" by Prof.David Koilpllai
Full Course: https://study.iitm.ac.in/es/course_pages/EE3101.html
Video Overview
In this lecture you will explore the Nyquist rate using practical examples to build a deeper understanding of this fundamental concept in signal processing. We will analyze how operations on a continuous time signal such as time shifting, differentiation, squaring, modulation and time scaling change its frequency content and affect its Nyquist rate. By working through these examples you will learn how to determine the correct Nyquist rate for different signal processing scenarios and understand its role in ensuring accurate sampling and reconstruction in analog to digital conversion.
About IIT Madras' online Bachelor of Science programme
IIT Madras offers four-year BS programmes that aim to provide quality education to all, irrespective of age, educational background, or location. The BS programme has multiple levels, which provide flexibility to students to exit at any of these levels. Depending on the courses completed and credits earned, the learner can receive a Foundation Certificate from IITM CODE (Centre for Outreach and Digital Education), Diploma(s) from IIT Madras, or BSc/BS Degrees from IIT Madras.
