The investors will not invest only in fixed income securities, some investment is also made in variable income securities i. e., common stock. The feature of this investment is entirely different from investment in fixed income securities.

In these two units, I explained you about the features of common stock, approachs to its valuation and Market Indexes i. e., Sensex and Nifty.

Remember, valuation of common stock is a very difficult task because the rate of return on this investment is not certain, it will change from time to time, different approachs are available for its valuation.
