Day Book in Excel | Automatic Receipt & Payment Summary (Date wise)

A Day Book is a register where we maintain daily records of money received and money paid.
It helps us track date-wise receipts, payments, balance of the day, and running balance.

In this video, we will create an automatic Day Book in Excel.

The Day Book is prepared using 3 sheets:

Receipt Sheet – all entries where money is received
Payment Sheet – all entries where money is paid
Day Book Sheet – shows date-wise receipt, payment, balance of the day, and running balance automatically

Once you enter data in the Receipt or Payment sheet, the Day Book updates automatically.
