In this Excel Power Query tutorial, you’ll learn how to combine multiple monthly HR attendance reports (January, February, March) into ONE quarterly or year-to-date (YTD) report — without copy/paste!

Scenario: HR receives a separate monthly report every month (Jan, Feb, Mar), but needs one clean file for quarterly or YTD analysis (attendance totals, sick days, overtime, etc.)

In this video, I’ll show you how to:
• Use Power Query to combine multiple sheets/tabs into one table
• Pull data using “Get Data from Workbook” (or from the same workbook)
• Transform & clean the data (Use First Row as Headers, data types, remove blanks)
• Add a Month column so you can filter/report by month
• Load the combined results into a “Summary” sheet
• Refresh the query when new months are added — so your report updates automatically!

Perfect for HR professionals and admins who want quarterly or YTD attendance, absence, and overtime summaries without redoing the process every month.
