In this Excel tutorial, you’ll learn how to build an interactive Excel dashboard using PivotTables, PivotCharts, and slicers to analyze quarterly and year-to-date (YTD) metrics. Using a combined monthly data set, we’ll create a professional dashboard that includes KPI tiles, trend charts, department comparisons, and Top 10 rankings — all fully interactive and controlled by slicers.

This video covers:
• Creating KPI tiles linked to PivotTables
• Calculating average attendance rate and absence rate
• Building PivotCharts for trends and comparisons
• Filtering Top 10 employees by overtime
• Connecting slicers to multiple PivotTables
• Formatting a clean, printable Excel dashboard layout

The example uses workforce attendance and overtime data, but the same techniques can be applied to sales dashboards, finance reports, operational metrics, or any recurring monthly data in Excel.
