LEARN HOW TO SPLIT DATA FROM ONE CELL INTO MULTIPLE COLUMNS USING TEXT TO COLUMNS IN EXCEL // Learn how to split text (like first and last name) into multiple columns in Excel. Or use Text to Columns to separate a column of 9-digit zip codes into just the first 5-digits of the zip code. Using either a fixed width or delimiter like a comma, period or other character like the @ symbol, you can take a single column of data and split it into multiple columns.
Find the Text to Columns feature on the Data ribbon under Data Tools. The Convert Text to Columns wizard will appear.
