This final lecture looks at the future of intelligent buildings, exploring emerging technologies such as robotics, nanomaterials, biointegrated materials, generative AI, and advanced computing. It critically examines the ethical, social, and equity challenges of intelligent architecture before synthesising the course journey from Futurism to smart buildings, AI, and trans-architecture. The lecture concludes by reflecting on the responsibility of future architects to create buildings that are technologically advanced, sustainable, inclusive, and human-centred.
