The course will enable the students to understand the basic concepts of electric vehicles. The course will start with the components in EV power train and their design, which will be followed by the charging infrastructure. The course will also cover the effect of EV on grid. The students will get in-depth understanding of the concepts by solving the MATLAB based assignments. The course is well suitable for students interested in the emerging EV field.
