In this lecture, I will discuss the solution of ODEs (initial value and boundary value problems) with some examples. I will revisit the example of spring-dashpot example from the first week and show how I can numerically solve the model equations. I will discuss how Taylor series can be used to derive numerical methods for ODEs.
