In this lecture, I will discuss the idea of energy and work from a molecular viewpoint. I will then discuss the molecular interpretation of entropy with an analogy between distributing chocolates to students and distributing energy packets between particles in a system. I will demonstrate how entropy drives mass transfer and mixing.
