In this lecture, we have covered the synthesis of the entire course, reiterating the shift from static land-use descriptions to a process-based, systems understanding of cities as coupled socio-ecological entities. We have also summarized the key diagnostic frameworks operationalized throughout the modules, emphasizing the importance of interpreting flows, feedbacks, and biophysical limits for adaptive urban governance.
