In this lecture, we have covered the assessment of risk and Blue-Green Infrastructure (BGI) potential, while revisiting the classification of ecosystem types—terrestrial, aquatic, and transitional—to understand their functional roles and interconnectivity in building resilience. We have also examined case examples of these ecosystems to ground the assessment tool in ecological theory.
