In this lecture, we have covered the future of urban ecology, tracing the shift from "ecology of the city" to "ecology for the city" and exploring the "Biotechnical Horizon" where design integrates biology. We have also discussed the importance of Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS) and analyzed future city visions to understand how transdisciplinary co-production shapes sustainable urban environments.
