In this lecture, we have covered the assessment of urban infrastructure, distinguishing between hard and soft infrastructure systems while advocating for a shift towards performance-based planning. We have also explored specific assessment frameworks for sectors like transport, water, and energy, focusing on tools like the Climate-Smart Cities Assessment Framework (CSCAF) to enhance urban sustainability.
