In this lecture, we have covered the relationship between biodiversity loss and the Ecological Footprint, highlighting how urban consumption drives environmental impact beyond city boundaries. We have also discussed the "Handprint" framework for creating positive sustainability impacts and explored methods to integrate footprint assessments with local biodiversity conservation.
