In this lecture, we have covered the implementation gaps in Nature-based Solutions (NbS), analyzing why cities often default to grey infrastructure despite the benefits of green alternatives. We have also examined the governance, regulatory, and financial barriers to NbS deployment, as well as social challenges like green gentrification that impede equitable urban resilience.
