In this lecture, we have covered the policy frameworks necessary for implementing Nature-Based Solutions (NbS), highlighting the shift from colonial master planning to adaptive governance that integrates ecological resilience. We have also examined various legal and financial mechanisms, such as the Smart Cities Mission, AMRUT 2.0, and municipal green bonds, which support the scaling and funding of sustainable urban infrastructure.
