In this lecture, we have covered Blue Green Infrastructure (BGI) as a strategic network integrating green and blue systems with grey infrastructure to deliver ecosystem services like flood mitigation and thermal regulation. We have also examined the classification of BGI across different spatial scales—matrix, corridor, and patch—and discussed design principles for creating multifunctional, resilient urban landscapes.
