In this lecture, we have covered Nature-based Solutions (NbS) as transformative interventions that address societal challenges by protecting, sustainably managing, and restoring natural or modified ecosystems. We have also discussed NbS as an "umbrella concept" that encompasses various approaches, such as ecological restoration and green infrastructure, and highlighted their capacity to deliver simultaneous benefits for human well-being and biodiversity.
