In this lecture, we have covered the concept of carrying capacity, originally defined by Malthus, and its application to urban areas as the maximum population a system can sustain. We have also examined various types of urban carrying capacity, assessment models like the SAFE model, and real-world applications in cities such as Agra, India, and Zhejiang Province, China.
