In this lecture, we have covered the practical application of ecosystem theories through case studies, such as the oak-pine forest shift in the Himalayas and the carrying capacity of the Similipal Tiger Reserve. We have also analyzed complex ecosystem interactions to understand how synergies, trade-offs, and disturbances shape ecological outcomes and inform management strategies.
