In this lecture, we have covered fundamental ecosystem concepts, including ecological niches, keystone species, and limits of tolerance, which govern species survival and community structure. We have also analyzed functional mechanisms, such as nutrient upwelling, population oscillation, and self-regulation, to understand how ecosystems maintain internal balance and homeostasis.
