In this lecture on Practical & Lab Demonstration: Pattern Making, Moulding and Casting, we demonstrate the hands-on process of metal casting. The session covers making of wooden patterns, use of tools and machines, preparation of moulding sand, and step-by-step mould making. It also includes metal melting, pouring, solidification, and casting. Additionally, the effect of silicon in cast Al-Si alloys is discussed.
