This lecture continues the previous discussion by defining various types of fluid flow. Steady flow is where fluid properties like velocity and pressure do not change over time at any point, while unsteady flow sees these properties vary with time. Uniform flow occurs when fluid properties remain constant with respect to position, contrasting with non-uniform flow where they change with position and time. Rotational flow involves fluid particles rotating about their own axes, unlike irrotational flow where particles do not rotate. Finally, compressible flow involves varying fluid density, whereas incompressible flow maintains a constant density throughout.
