Do you know the difference between an "AI Core resource group" and a "scenario" in SAP's AI landscape, and why mixing them up can leave your deployments impossible to track at scale? This session goes hands-on with SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad, the execution engine and management UI that power enterprise AI deployments across SAP. You'll see live navigation through resource groups, scenario management, deployments, and observability, the exact operational layer that keeps AI models running reliably in production, not just in a demo.

Chapters:
00:00 Introduction & SAP AI Launchpad Overview
05:02 AI Destination Setup
16:41 Integration Architecture
27:41 BTP Destination Management

54:03 Live API Integration Demo
01:04:02 Chart Mode & Benchmarks
01:14:41 Connect Launchpad to AI Core
In this video, you'll learn:
What SAP AI Launchpad actually is, a multi-tenant SaaS application that manages AI use cases (scenarios) across multiple AI Core tenants
Why AI Core and AI Launchpad work together: AI Core as the execution engine, AI Launchpad as the UI for setup, testing, and production readiness
How to enable AI Launchpad through Boosters in your SAP BTP account and connect it to an AI Core instance
How resource groups isolate workloads, letting different teams or use cases run models, data, and configurations independently within the same tenant
The complete scenario lifecycle: creating a scenario, choosing between the orchestration service or foundation models, and deploying it into a running endpoint
How to manage deployments practically, starting, stopping, and monitoring them to avoid unnecessary resource consumption and cost
How to configure destinations pointing to specific resource groups and deployments, and how scenario producers can access logs to support scenario consumers
Understanding resource groups and scenario lifecycle management is the operational backbone that makes the difference between an AI model that works in a demo and one that an enterprise can actually run and govern in production. The next session goes deeper into orchestration deployments and connecting these scenarios to real business applications.
