Almost every real mobile app needs authentication. In this project, we build a complete Supabase Auth flow in React Native Expo, using AI-assisted development with Gemini and Cursor, then test the app on a physical phone.

Welcome to Video 23 of AI Mobile Engineer 2026 by The Techzeen. We start with a fresh Expo app, set up a Supabase project, prepare a professional implementation prompt with Gemini, and use Cursor to build the authentication experience.

What we cover in this video:
* Create a new React Native Expo project and set up Supabase
* Configure project credentials in .env.local
* Use Gemini to prepare a detailed prompt for Cursor
* Implement email/password authentication: Sign Up, Sign In, and Sign Out
* Build the app UI and authentication flow
* Run and test the project on a physical device using Expo Go

The implementation also covers the authentication and interface features specified in the project prompt, including validation, session handling, protected screens, secure token persistence, and a theme toggle.
