?What are some effective techniques for achieving smooth and realistic blending with colored pencils

Achieving smooth blending with colored pencils involves layering, burnishing, and using solvent-based blending tools like odorless mineral spirits. It's essential to apply consistent pressure and gradually build up layers to create seamless transitions between colors.

? Can colored pencils be used on various surfaces other than paper, and what considerations should be kept in mind when using them on unconventional surfaces

Yes, colored pencils can be used on surfaces like wood, fabric, and even rocks. When working on unconventional surfaces, ensure they are clean and smooth.
