Students learn about biocompatibility, durability, esthetics, and the influence of factors such as moisture, pH, and temperature on material stability. Emphasis is placed on material selection for different clinical cases, manipulation techniques, setting reactions, and common causes of material failure. Practical sessions provide hands-on training in mixing, handling, and applying dental materials in restorative and prosthodontic procedures.
