Pediatric defibrillation course,
in this course we will learn about pediatric defibrillation, focusing on techniques for safely delivering shocks to children during cardiac emergencies. Participants will explore the differences between adult and pediatric defibrillation, including appropriate energy levels, electrode pad placement, and the use of specialized pediatric defibrillators or settings. The course covers scenarios like ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, teaching participants how to act promptly. We will also focus on CPR integration with defibrillation, troubleshooting defibrillators, and understanding safety protocols. By the end of the course, learners will be prepared to effectively handle pediatric cardiac emergencies, whether in clinical, pre-hospital, or public settings.
