Course Description
Making waste water treatment plant model,
in this course introduces students to the process of cleaning and reusing wastewater through an interactive, hands-on project. In this course, learners design a miniature treatment plant using materials such as plastic bottles, pipes, sand, gravel, charcoal, cotton, and filters to simulate the different stages of purification. The model demonstrates how wastewater passes through primary treatment (removing large particles), secondary treatment (biological processes that break down organic matter), and tertiary treatment (filtration and disinfection for safe reuse). Students also learn the importance of wastewater management in conserving clean water, reducing pollution, and protecting ecosystems. The course connects theory with real-world applications by showing how modern treatment plants supply safe water for households, agriculture, and industry. By building this model, learners gain problem-solving, critical thinking, and environmental awareness skills. This project is ideal for science fairs, classroom demonstrations, and awareness programs, making it both educational and impactful for sustainable living. howtofunda
